Sleep Study
Upon completion of successfully screening each patient with our questionnaire, Medi-Dent Connect deploys tele-health using our unique Store-It-Forward™ technology. Patients who are positive for the likelihood of OSA via our Store-It-Forward review are referred by our Medical Provider for sleep testing. Based on insurance preauthorization, sleep testing is completed by either HST (Home Sleep Test, in which a HST Monitor is deployed to your patient’s home), or a traditional in-lab study is scheduled. The results of the sleep study are interpreted by a Board Certified Sleep Physician and those results & recommendations are forwarded to our Medical Provider. Our Medical Provider reviews these results, and a prescription for OAT or CPAP is written. (If CPAP is prescribed, Medi-Dent Connect has the resources immediately available to treat patients with this therapy as well).
