Prescribed Therapy
Our Medical Provider works in concert with the board certified sleep physician’s diagnosis to create a treatment plan suited to address the medical condition of each patient. Based on this diagnosis, our Medical Provider writes a prescription for therapy such as OAT (Oral Appliance Therapy) or CPAP as indicated. This prescription is forwarded to the treating dentist (in the case of an OAT recommendation and prescription), or to our medical division for CPAP therapy. All medical information is communicated with the dentist and available for review and subsequent follow-up on the Medi-Dent Connect secure / HIPPA compliant web portal.
